# NordicWeavers

> Online video courses in traditional Danish chair weaving — Danish cord (papirgarn), seagrass, hand caning (rørflet), prewoven cane, flag halyard and willow baskets — from Kurvemagerne, the family chair-weaving workshop in Herlev near Copenhagen that has woven chair seats since 1946.

NordicWeavers is run by Kurvemagerne ApS (CVR 44860481), Smedeholm 12, st., 2730 Herlev, Danmark. The courses are taught by the Skinbjerg family, three generations of chair weavers, who weave more than 2,500 seats a year in their workshops. Each course follows one real chair from bare frame to finished seat, filmed close up.
